Quality Assurance Framework

Overview of our institutional quality assurance policies and procedures.

Our Commitment to Quality

Gyandeep is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic quality and institutional effectiveness. Our Quality Assurance Framework provides a systematic approach to monitoring, evaluating, and enhancing all aspects of institutional performance.

Core Principles

  • Continuous improvement in teaching and learning
  • Transparency and accountability in all processes
  • Student-centred approach to education
  • Evidence-based decision making
  • Stakeholder engagement and feedback

The framework is reviewed annually to ensure it remains aligned with national standards and international best practices.

02

Academic Standards

Standards and benchmarks that govern academic programmes and qualifications.

Academic Standards

All academic programmes at Gyandeep are designed and delivered in accordance with established national academic standards. We ensure that the level and content of each programme meets or exceeds the expectations set by relevant regulatory bodies.

Programme Design

Each programme undergoes a rigorous design process that includes:

  1. Curriculum mapping against national learning outcomes
  2. Review by subject matter experts and industry advisors
  3. Student and alumni feedback integration
  4. Alignment with employability requirements

Assessment Standards

Assessment practices are designed to be valid, reliable, transparent, and consistent. Internal and external moderation processes are in place to maintain fairness across all assessments.

03

Student Experience

How we monitor and enhance the quality of the student learning experience.

Student Experience Quality

The student experience is at the heart of our quality assurance activities. We regularly collect and act upon student feedback to improve the learning environment, teaching methods, and support services.

Feedback Mechanisms

  • Module evaluations — conducted at the end of each module
  • Annual student survey — comprehensive survey covering all aspects of the student experience
  • Student Representative Council — elected representatives participate in key committees
  • Focus groups — targeted discussions on specific areas of concern or improvement
Student feedback is not just collected — it is reviewed, acted upon, and students are informed of the outcomes through a "You Said, We Did" process.

Self-Assessment Reports

Annual self-assessment process and outcomes at programme and institutional level.

Self-Assessment Reports (SAR)

Each academic department produces an annual Self-Assessment Report evaluating the quality and standards of its provision. These reports form the basis for continuous improvement planning.

SAR Structure

Each report covers the following areas:

  1. Programme performance data (enrolment, completion, achievement)
  2. Student satisfaction results and actions taken
  3. Staff development activities
  4. Curriculum review and updates
  5. Resource and facilities assessment
  6. Improvement priorities for the coming year

Reports are reviewed by the Quality Assurance Committee and shared with the Academic Board. A summary of institutional findings is made available to all stakeholders.

Next SAR Submission Deadline: 31st August each year.

Types of External Review

  • Regulatory inspections by the national education authority
  • Programme accreditation by professional and statutory bodies
  • Peer review by partner institutions
  • Employer audits of curriculum relevance

Recent Review Outcomes

Our most recent external review resulted in commendations in the following areas:

  • Quality of student support services

  • Engagement with employers and industry

Areas identified for development are tracked through our Quality Improvement Plan and reported to the Academic Board quarterly.
